Hanen It Takes Two to Talk® Parent Training Program
Available as one-on-one home visits or in small group sessions.
Program Overview
The Hanen "It Takes Two to Talk" program is a specialized intervention designed for young children with language delays. Developed by The Hanen Centre in Canada, it is widely recognized by speech-language pathologists and families globally, and is backed by scientific research and evidence-based practices.
We believe that parents are a child's first teachers; with professional guidance, every family can become a powerful support system for their child's language development!
Core Philosophy
The parental role is crucial: Parents are a child's first teachers, and daily interactions offer prime opportunities for language learning.
Communication is a two-way street: Language development requires a collaborative effort between parent and child, and every interaction serves as a learning opportunity.
Target Audience
Young children with language delays: Helping children overcome difficulties in language comprehension or expression, enabling every child to find their voice in communication.
Parents and caregivers seeking to support language development: Equipping you with evidence-based methods to guide your child's language growth.
Program Content
Workshops and guidance: Professional speech-language pathologists teach parents simple, effective techniques—such as interpreting a child's intentions, using simple language, and creating a positive communication environment—through workshops.
Individualized guidance: Speech-language pathologists collaborate with families to design specific strategies tailored to the child's needs and family routines, ensuring these strategies are integrated into natural, everyday interactions.
Program Highlights
